Choose the best Apple iPad that fits you

Apple’s latest iPad model, the iPad 3G, arrived on the market in the US friday .

Apple latest model of the iPad is only a little bit heavier but from now on you can use internet in any place you want. Where is an 3G connection available .

Well this feature costs you plusminus 130 Euros extra by purchase of the device. Prices for the 3G-versions (with respectively 16, 32 or 64 GB on board) begin probably at 550 Euros.  While they indicate the top model around 800 Euros you need to understand it is still a rumour . Next week monday Apple will announce the final prices and availabililty in all countries .  

The early reviewers state that users need to be aware of the extra cost they have at purchasing this model but also have the extra fees per month for the subscription service of the provider . 

When testing with the AT&T network the Apple iPad 3G performed the same as the iPhone 3GS . The quality of reception was the same . While the 3G connection can not compete with a regular WiFi connection it is fast enough to check your emails, surf on the internet and use the online apps without any hassle .  

Due to the fast processor the iPad has onboard the webpages load much faster than on an iPhone . It gives you a fast user experience . Switching between the 3G mode and WiFi mode works without any problems . An icon at the top the screen displays you which network you are currently using .

The early adopters are not thinking which one to buy ofcourse . You also have alternatives available which give you almost the same feature with the  iPad WiFi model . It’s called a Mifi-router . The software in this device convert the GSM/3G-signals to a Wifi-signal, through which you can use internet with five devices via 3G .  (Mifi-software is available for Windows Mobile Smartphones or jailbroken iPhones  or Symbian S60 phones).  

Using Mifi as connection with your iPad, the iPad is tricked. It ‘thinks’ it’s connected via a fast WiFi connection . This gives you a big advantage.You can download large podcast, application which demand a WiFi connection. A good example is Skype .

Users in the U.S.A. complain that the offered video quality via 3G is low . On an iPhone, it’s not a great burden, but with a large screen of the iPad these videos become awful because of the low resolution .  

If GPS is a must-have option you have to take the Apple iPad 3G . This new GPS-chip of the 3G works better than we know of the iPhone 3GS .

If you are really doubting because of the price you need to think if you are ready to take some concessions Installing the MiFi router solution will alow you to choose for the regular  iPad.
